In order to promote in-depth cooperation between China and Saudi Arabia in environmental protection industries such as solid waste treatment and sewage management, and to fully respond to Saudi Arabia’s (hereinafter referred to as "Saudi Arabia") "Vision 2030" and China's "Belt and Road" initiative, the Saudi Arabia Solid Waste and Sewage Management Investment Roadshow, jointly organized by the Saudi Ministry of Investment, Shandong Qunfeng Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Qunfeng Heavy Industry"), and Mazaya (Beijing) International Consulting Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Mazaya"), kicked off in Beijing on May 19.
This roadshow focused on the issue of environmental governance in Saudi Arabia. An official delegation of more than 30 high-level Saudi government officials gathered in China for the roadshow, authoritatively interpreting Saudi Arabia's environmental policies, market access regulations and investment opportunities related to the solid waste and sewage management market. Through the linkage between Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen, it built a channel for in-depth docking and cooperation between Chinese companies and Saudi capital, market and technology, helping China and Saudi Arabia to jointly open up a new cooperation landscape in the field of environmental protection, planning for Saudi Arabia's green development and prosperity with high-quality cooperation, and contributing to the continuous advancement of the China-Saudi Arabia comprehensive strategic partnership to a new level.

At the Saudi Solid Waste and Sewage Management Investment Roadshow in Beijing, Ashraf Khayat of the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Investment said in his speech that Saudi Arabia has released the "Vision 2030" and set ambitious goals. This time, the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Investment, together with Qunfeng Heavy Industries and Mazaya, held the Saudi Solid Waste and Sewage Management Investment Roadshow to systematically and comprehensively show Chinese companies what opportunities and resources, cooperation paths and investment opportunities Saudi Arabia has. Chinese companies are welcome to come to Saudi Arabia. Today, Saudi Arabia is open and welcomes investment and cooperation.

Sylvan Zhang, general manager of the organizer Qunfeng Heavy Industry, mentioned in his speech that Saudi Arabia is investing heavily in green projects such as smart urban sanitation, resource recycling, solid waste treatment, and sewage treatment. China has mature experience and technological advantages in the above fields. 3.National Centre for Privatization NCP – Faisal Alsegairy shared the overview and opportunities of National Centre for Privatization and PPP.
4.Saudi Water Transmission Company WTCO - Abdullah Alshammari gave a detailed introduction to WTCO: WTCO is affiliated to the Saudi government. The establishment of WTCO aims to support Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030. It leads the development of Saudi water transmission and water treatment strategic storage systems.
5.Ali Ghzwan, LCGPA, Ministry of Local Government Resources and Government Procurement, shared Saudi Arabia’s goals for 2030.
6.Among the Chinese companies participating in the roadshow in the water sector, Lingzhi Equipment Co., Ltd. - Academician Jianjun Ling shared the application of Lingzhi SDD low-carbon water treatment technology and equipment in urban domestic sewage and decentralized sewage treatment in Saudi Arabia.
During the roadshow on solid waste management, China and Saudi Arabia held fruitful professional dialogues.

4.Among the Chinese companies participating in the solid waste management roadshow, Sylvan Zhang, general manager of Qunfeng Heavy Industry, demonstrated Qunfeng Heavy Industry's advanced technical solutions and the overall plan to help Riyadh achieve a "zero-waste city" during the solid waste management roadshow. According to the plan, Qunfeng Heavy Industry initially plans to deploy intelligent equipment in the garbage collection and transportation links to achieve intelligent management; it is expected to complete the construction of Riyadh's garbage transfer station and various garbage resource production lines in 2028; at the same time, it will build an environmental protection industrial park with a garbage incineration plant as the center, which will bring together a variety of garbage resource processing lines to help the development of Saudi Arabia's green cities, with the goal of initially completing the construction of Riyadh's "zero-waste city" around 2030.
During the question-and-answer session, eight Saudi government representatives and Chinese companies conducted further in-depth communication and exchanges on issues such as Saudi solid waste management projects, project cooperation implementation procedures, and localized production of environmental protection equipment.
